I love long weekends! Still heaps of work to do on the cities of death, but it’s now ready to do a dry run and see how it looks all set out on the table. The far left hand side (on the pic below) still needs a building of some description, but otherwise it’s starting to get a feel for how it should end up.
I’ve managed to have a couple of games on the table to see how playable it is, and so far I’m really happy with the results. The table feels like it has a good mix of cover and open areas, with some large line-of-sight blocking pieces to make the game a bit more tactical. The large buildings also help counter one another, and neither table edge feels like it has too much of an advantage over any other.
So, still lots of details to add in, but it’s been really inspirational seeing it all set out and having some games on it!
