Imperial Knights – House Hawkshroud Adamantine Lance

Hey all

I’ve been meaning to put these up for a while now, but have been holding off in the hopes of getting some better pics. I’m fast giving up on getting the pics however, so these will have to do until then. I was originally intending on doing these knights as admech knights. But, I really like the House Hawkshroud colour scheme (I clearly have an addiction to yellow) and so decided to take the force up to a full household detachment.

Fist up is Sir Thronton, the commander of the detachment. I’ve had the pleasure of fielding this knight a few times and he seems to delight in killing the enemy warlords.

Next up is Sir Rede, the youngest and most aggressive of the detachment. He’s also had the most dramatic moment of any of the knights, charging an Infinite Phalanx of around 150 necron warriors in an apocalypse battle. He made it into combat, and then spent the next many turns merrily skipping/stomping through their ranks. A unit of around 50 termagents also joined in to attack the knight, even though nothing could actually hurt him. The game ended with the combat still ongoing, with the lone knight surrounded by a vast sea of enemies. Seeing as how nothing could damage him, I like to think he strode back into the Imperial camp days later after crushing the lot!
